Senior UX Researcher
Location: Irving, TX (5 days a week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Hourly Rate: up to $62.50 an hour / DOE
Our large retail client is seeking a Senior UX Researcher for a 6-month role, requiring onsite presence at headquarters in Irving, TX.
Applicants should submit their portfolio demonstrating experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing in digital products. This role supports the R&D side of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead end-to-end UX research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Utilize tools like SQL, Python, or R for data cleaning, modeling, and visualization.
- Facilitate workshops, remote user testing, and surveys to gather insights.
- Develop research roadmaps, documentation, and repositories to scale insights across teams.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create strategic roadmaps and stakeholder-aligned strategies.
- Conduct literature reviews and create briefs to inform product decisions.
- Perform tactics such as persona development, journey mapping, service design, and workshop facilitation.
- Define project success metrics, guardrails, and perform power analyses, randomization, and statistical testing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, either in-house or at an agency.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Portfolio with samples demonstrating relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Usertesting.com, dscout, MUIQ, Qualtrics, Alchemer.
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, Mixpanel, Databricks for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience in retail, eCommerce, or tech is highly desirable.
