Senior UX Researcher

Location: Irving, TX (onsite, 5 days a week)

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Hourly Rate: up to $62.50 an hour / DOE

Our large retail client is seeking a Senior UX Researcher for a 6-month, full-time role requiring onsite presence in Irving, TX.

Applicants should submit their portfolio demonstrating experience with A/B and multivariate testing in digital products. The role supports R&D initiatives within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead comprehensive UX research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Utilize tools like SQL, Python, or R for data cleaning, modeling, and visualization.
• Facilitate workshops, remote user testing, and surveys to gather insights.
• Develop research roadmaps, documentation, and repositories to scale insights across teams.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to align strategies with stakeholder needs.
• Conduct literature reviews and create briefs to inform product decisions.
• Create personas, journey maps, and facilitate workshops as part of day-to-day tactics.
• Define success metrics and guardrails, perform power analyses, and conduct statistical testing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX research experience, in-house or agency.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's or PhD preferred.
• Portfolio with samples demonstrating relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Usertesting.com, dscout, MUIQ, Qualtrics, Alchemer.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, Mixpanel, Databricks for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or tech is highly desirable.
