A Documentation Writer is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Midland, NC area. This role involves creating and updating training materials and documentation for a new SAP system implementation at two manufacturing plants, focusing on supply chain and quality processes.

location: Concord, North Carolina

job type: Contract

salary: $17.25 - 26.72 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Associates

Responsibilities

  • Work with project teams and plant resources to identify and create/modify training materials and documentation.
  • Meet in person with team members to understand current PeopleSoft processes and learn new SAP processes.
  • Modify and create training materials and documentation for the new SAP system.
  • Use various formats including MS Word, MS Excel, PDFs, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Complete assigned work according to project timelines and milestones.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines while providing routine updates.
  • Handle rework and modified directions.

Skills

  • SAP ERP system experience, specifically in supply chain.
  • Documentation skills using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDFs.
  • Ability to work independently to a deadline.
  • strong team player with adaptability.

Desired Skills: Exposure to a manufacturing plant environment.
