Seeking a highly experienced IT Technical Writer with a robust background in telecommunications, infrastructure, and technology strategy. This role is crucial for documenting technical policies and procedures, mapping complex systems and business processes, and developing clear, concise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation across IT and engineering environments. The ideal candidate will effectively work independently and with cross-functional teams to drive IT, architecture review, and change management governance.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain clear, user-centered technical documentation, including SOPs, network design documentation, technology assessments, and strategic roadmaps.
• Lead or support efforts to map end-to-end business and technology processes across telecommunications, IT systems, and enterprise networks.
• Gather input from subject matter experts and engineers to develop detailed documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable documentation.
• Document results of Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations, RFP responses, and technology trials.
• Maintain document standards, templates, and version control using modern tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Visio, Google Suite).
• Work independently to manage project timelines and deliverables without direct supervision.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical writing, specifically within telecommunications and IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of technology strategy and architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft 365, Visio, and Google Suite.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
