About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Marketing Business Development Leader to head the Marketing Business Development team and process. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team in RFP responses, management pitch development, and presentations to C-suite executive clients and prospects. This role requires a strategic leader who can articulate the company's marketing assets, capabilities, and value proposition, and who will also serve as the Marketing SME throughout the process. The SVP will be tasked with developing high-level marketing strategies, partnering with key stakeholders for growth projections, and establishing a repository of best practices for future business development pitches. Applicants for the SVP, Marketing Business Development Leader position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for an advanced degree. A minimum of 12 years' marketing experience, particularly in the credit card or financial services industry, is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in growth marketing, outstanding presentation skills, and exceptional project and time management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach, be comfortable in a matrixed structure, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Experience in product value proposition creation, direct marketing, and a deep understanding of consumer finance and related industry experience are also essential. The role is highly deadline-driven and requires the ability to travel as needed.
