Role Overview:
The Bruning Law Firm is seeking a skilled and proactive Marketing Specialist to help strengthen our brand, enhance client relationships, and support ongoing marketing efforts. This role is responsible for executing thoughtful engagement strategies that keep our past clients connected to the firm, while also contributing to content creation and ensuring a consistent, professional digital presence. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple platforms to support both strategic campaigns and day-to-day marketing operations. Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Past Client Engagement & Referral Generation: Lead our True Fan Club initiative, designed to foster lasting relationships with past clients and encourage organic referrals. This includes overseeing a monthly client newsletter, coordinating strategic giveaways, and developing creative engagement campaigns that keep our firm top-of-mind. Your role will be to build trust, maintain meaningful touchpoints, and ensure our clients remain enthusiastic advocates for our brand.
2. Content Creation Support: Youll be the right hand to our content efforts:
- Film and edit short-form and long-form videos
- Assist with visual content creation via tools such as Canva, Veo, and others
- Collaborate with the marketing team on social strategy and brand voice
3. Online Profile Consistency: Ensure our digital presence remains accurate, consistent, and up to date across all key platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing online directory listings and profilesincluding Google Business, Avvo, Martindale, Facebook, and othersto support brand credibility, search visibility, and client trust.
4. General Marketing Support: Assist with the miscellaneous marketing efforts as needed
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on content creation
- Graphic Design Tools: Proficiency with Canva or similar platforms (e.g. Adobe Express, Figma) to create branded visuals for newsletters, social media, and referral campaigns.
- Video Production: Experience filming, editing, and formatting short-form and long-form content
- Copywriting & Editing: Clear, concise writing skills for crafting newsletter content, captions, and client communications.
- Basic Analytics: Ability to track performance metrics (email opens, video engagement, directory visibility) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Ambition: A self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within the role.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and juggle multiple projects at once.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
