GST is seeking an experienced communications professional to join our team in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). You should have broad experience in communications and project management.

Primary Duties

In this position you will:

• Lead projects in NOAA to ensure that objectives and policies align and are communicated
• Help in development of strategic plans and policies
• Coordinate with senior leadership, program offices and external stakeholders
• Oversee project schedules, data calls and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate planning and execution of line office meetings and working groups
• Contribute to many additional executive office tasks
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good time management
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and highly organized
• Competency with Microsoft and Google product suites
• Smartsheet experience is highly desirable
• Experience developing and managing project and action trackers
  
  

Required Education/Experience/Skills

Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing or GIS.

• Good communication skills are key to success in this role.
• Attention to detail, good time management, competency with Microsoft product suite especially Excel spreadsheets.
• Smartsheet experience is a plus.
• Understanding of government communications and planning processes is a significant plus.
• Experience developing and managing project and action trackers.

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
