About the Opportunity

Our client is a dynamic and growing commercial real estate firm with a diverse portfolio spanning development, brokerage, property management, and investment services. Known for its innovation and market leadership, the company is seeking a highly strategic and creative Director of Marketing to oversee and elevate its marketing efforts across multiple business lines.

Position Overview

As the Director of Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of a fully integrated marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility, supports business development efforts, and drives engagement across all platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a sharp eye for design, strong understanding of commercial real estate, and the ability to manage a marketing function that spans digital, print, property marketing, events, and internal communications.

Youll be responsible for both strategic leadership and tactical execution while managing a high-performing team and collaborating across departments and regions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Lead and manage the marketing department to ensure alignment with company goals, brand consistency, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies supporting business lines including brokerage, development, property management, and investment services.
  • Partner with senior leadership on firm-wide planning and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Supervise and coach marketing team members, managing task flow through tools like Asana and stepping in as needed to support execution.

Brand Management & Creative Direction

  • Unify and elevate the companys brand identity across digital, print, and physical environments.
  • Oversee creation and approval of marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, pitch decks, proposals, and property listings.
  • Provide graphic design support for new development projects and multi-family assets, including signage and offering memorandums.

Marketing Operations & Property Support

  • Ensure marketing materials and property listings are consistently updated across platforms (LoopNet, CoStar, Crexi, company website).
  • Manage signage logistics including design, permitting, vendor coordination, and installation for Houston, Austin, and DFW.
  • Oversee photography, video, and aerial marketing efforts for active listings.
  • Track and analyze listing performance across platforms; recommend and implement improvements.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct property comparisons, site analyses, and demographic research using tools like Sites USA, PlacerAi, LandVision, CoStar, and Crexi.
  • Assist in creating investment and JV pitch decks, incorporating aerials, site plans, and visual storytelling.
  • Design competitive maps and reports for internal brokerage use or prospective franchise users.

Digital Marketing & Website Management

  • Lead digital strategy across SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and web content.
  • Manage website updates and performance in coordination with third-party developers (e.g., Blue Atlas).
  • Use analytics and insights to improve campaign performance, lead generation, and brand reach.

Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan and execute events including property launches, investor meetings, trade shows, and community activations.
  • Manage sponsorships and partnerships to enhance brand visibility and industry presence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • Experience in commercial real estate marketing (brokerage, development, or property management) is required.
  • Proficiency in digital tools: Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, CRM systems, Sites USA, CoStar, PlacerAi, LandVision, and Crexi.
  • Strong design sensibility with hands-on graphic design experience.
  • Highly organized and collaborative with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across stakeholders.
