The Disney Entertainment Television Marketing Operations Team partners with the Walt Disney Company’s creative content organizations and creative marketing teams to produce and deliver unparalleled marketing content globally in a deadline driven high volume environment.Marketing Operations manages and provides asset and media management, post production operations and services, and creative technology support in anagile workflow, using cutting edge and custom software and tools, to streamline the creation and launch of thousands of successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.When you turn on your television, smart device or however you consume content, you will interact with media to which this team has contributed.

In this role, you’ll be the bridge between Show Productions and the Internal Marketing, Publicity and Sales creative. You are the point person for receiving and delivering show footage during the Production and Post Production process. This requires excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of the television post production process and impeccable follow thru. This role will troubleshoot any issues with acquired show media, arrange for the distribution of media to Creative vendors and agencies and communicate any show restrictions as needed. Y ou will acquire Walt Disney Television content across multiple brands (Disney Branded Television, ABC, Hulu, Disney+, FX, Freeform, etc.) for various Special Projects and events. With the rapidly increasing amount of Disney content, you will need to juggle dozens of shows, requests and competing priorities in an often-quick turnaround environment. In addition, a successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, be extremely organized and work effectively to drive results.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Establish, manage and grow strong relationships/partnerships with content providers on behalf of Marketing.

Acquire show deliverables and ad hoc requests to spec.

Troubleshoot file delivery and formatting issues.

Work closely with Marketing Creatives on day-to-day media requests and priorities.

Collaborate with internal partners to acquire content for special projects, sizzles, Upfront, etc.

Distribute source content to creative vendors, agencies and other Disney partners.

Maintain file base Media library, media security and oversee media retention.

Coordinate the capture of live feed and off-air network recordings.

Pull PO’s and oversee vendor payment.

Provide show documents as needed to DGE Marketing and their vendors.

Input and update Show metadata and delivery info on Internal Marketing database.

Track, input and communicate source content restrictions to partners.

Onboard and manage external user accounts on media and delivery platforms.

Acquire requested 3rd party footage for use in Marketing content.

Provide coverage when another Media Manager is out.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of Marketing/Broadcast/Production/Post-Production experience required

Forward thinker and problem solver.

Strong Verbal presentation skills.

Able to work independently and as a team.

Extremely organized and have a great eye for detail.

Thrive working in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Proactive and resourceful.

Must have strong relationship building and customer service skills.

Able to juggle different projects in various degrees of completion at the same time.

Adjust quickly and effectively in a highly fluid environment.

Strong understanding of file formats and Television Post Production.

Effective relationship building and time management skills.

Account management and finance skills preferred.

Basic knowledge of rights management.

Familiarity of Disney Television content and an appreciation for the brand is a plus.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
