Senior Designer & AI Image Creator

We're looking for a visionary Senior Designer & AI Image Creator to bridge the worlds of traditional design and cutting-edge AI image creation. This hybrid role will lead the evolution of visual storytelling by blending legacy image-capture techniques (e.g., photography) with emerging generative technologies (e.g., AI). This role is an integral part of the Global Creative Team, ensuring cohesive and high-impact brand expressions across all regions on both still & motion platforms through globally developed guidelines. Whilst guiding digital design, the Senior Designer supports and collaborates with Designers and Art Directors to create best in class storytelling assets, works closely across all creative teams (packaging, VM and 360) while fostering the use of innovative technologies like AI to optimize workflows and creative outputs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop on-brand designs for 360 campaign assets for all digital platforms, including the website, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
  • Lead and mentor designers in both design and AI usage.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines, visual identity and best practices for web and mobile.
  • Oversee digital team to develop asset and overarching design strategy from idea to execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Design Director to develop assets to create best in class visual assets.
  • Continuously research and initiate ideas to create digital first assets, leaning into AI as a tool.
  • Concept and execute design strategies for products and brand experiences that are delightful, strategically impactful, and exhibit a high level of craft.
  • Support, manage, and grow direct reports and freelancers.
  • Collaborate with other creative team members to streamline campaign development across channels, executing to consistent & cohesive standards.
Desired Skills and Requirements
  • B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in beauty industry
  • Portfolio showcasing strong design intuition, with skills in typography & composition
  • Expert in design software such as Figma & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Generative AI Tools such as Firefly, Sora & Midjourney, and other relevant tools.
  • Experience in Keynote, MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with production processes (print, digital, large-format)
  • Ability to balance multiple projects, and anticipate workload and communicate to complete projects within timelines.
  • Leverage a digital and mobile-first mindset in design.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design and vision.
  • Ability to work calmly through a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership of projects.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player (ability to work with immediate team members and cross functional partners).
  • Self-starter who takes initiatives within the workplace.
  • Open to explore, experimenting and initiate new ideas and designs.


Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150.00 to $109,200.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
