Whether you’re working from your home studio or popping into our LA hub, you’ll support our talented editors and creatives in crafting culturally relevant content for some of the most iconic brands in the game.
This role is freelance, project-based, and requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in video editing software and an understanding of post-production workflows, including media management, syncing, basic color correction, and audio leveling. They will assist in assembling rough cuts, organizing project files, and preparing assets for final delivery across multiple platforms.
- Support Senior Editors and Creative Directors in organizing, assembling, and refining video content across a range of formats including TikTok, IG Reels, brand films, sizzle reels, and case studies
- Assist in importing, transcoding, syncing, and organizing raw footage and media assets within post-production workflows
- Prepare rough assemblies and stringouts based on creative briefs or scripts, maintaining accurate timelines and labeling conventions
- Support color correction, audio leveling, and light motion graphics under the direction of senior editors
- Maintain organized project files and manage storage workflows across shared drives and cloud platforms
- Export and encode final videos in various aspect ratios and codecs optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other digital platforms
- Manage versioning, revisions, and final delivery of assets according to project specs and client feedback
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure technical consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
- Troubleshoot common post-production issues and assist with software or hardware setup when needed
- Stay informed on emerging editing tools, platform-specific format updates, and best practices in digital content production
- 1–3 years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience (internships and freelance work count!)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects and the larger Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Eagerness to grow and learn from feedback in a collaborative team environment
- Passion for culture, social media, and content that earns attention
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation + Benefits
The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly compensation range for this role is $28/hr - $32/hr. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for Los Angeles based hires only and is provided pursuant to the applicable law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
