Mathys+Potestio / The Creative Party Our entertainment client is looking for a Visual Designer with a sharp eye for culture, trends, and design to create compelling, scroll-stopping assets.
This is an ongoing assignment with a hybrid schedule in Beverly Hills, requiring up to 30 hours/week.
Responsibilities
Design fresh, trend-forward content, including infographics and social-first visuals optimized for TikTok, Instagram, etc. Collaborate with Creative Director and Strategist to translate data and complex insights into clean, digestible visual stories into that connect with audiences, making information easy to understand and share. Stay on top of TikTok and Gen Z design trends, focusing on typography, color palettes, and layouts to motion effects and meme-inspired design language. Experiment with formats to create visually innovative ways to package and present content. Maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic while pushing creative boundaries that keep the brand feeling fresh and relevant.
Requirements
A portfolio showcasing social-first design, ideally with experience in entertainment, lifestyle, or culture-driven brands. Strong skills in graphic design, typography, and data visualization (motion graphics and a knack for video editing is a bonus!) A finger on the pulse of digital culture. Ability to take direction from strategy and turn it into creative, audience-first design solutions. Collaborative spirit with the ability to work fast, iterate, and deliver in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $55-60 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
