In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. As a student-run team, it is essential that everyone on our team has a passion not just for live sound but for Caf Shows as an institution. We are always looking for fresh ideas on how we can elevate. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we encourage you to apply!Caf Shows are nightly performances from 10-11PM, Tuesday through Sunday, for eight weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Caf Shows predominantly showcase original music, including, but not limited to, artist sets, band sets, open music, and themed nights. Night shift scheduling is done two weeks in advance. This includes weekend shifts, which are equally distributed, requiring some weekend availability.Training will be held at the beginning of the semester, where all new staff must attend.The Caf Shows Marketing Coordinator - Content Creator is responsible for creating all video content on the Caf Show Instagram and taking high-quality photos at two Caf Shows per week (9-11:30 pm). The ideal candidate will direct artist interviews and concert filming for use in marketing materials.As a part of the Caf Shows marketing team, you can contribute to a valued tradition at Berklee. You will be given many networking opportunities and the chance to connect with the school.Hours: Two night shows a week - 5 hoursSix promo reels a week - 2 hoursOne weekly meeting with the Marketing Team - 1 hourOffice hours - 2 hoursEditing and additional work - 4 hoursTotal hours per week: 14Duties and Responsibilities: Scheduling artists to film promo reelsInterviewing artists for each showEditing and posting Instagram reelsHelp with new marketing strategiesCollaborate with the team to develop content ideas to film and edit outside of interviews.Taking quality photos at two shows a weekChoosing potential pictures to be edited and posted from the shows you photographedParticipate in the show selection processAttend a one-hour marketing meeting each weekAttend training sessions at the start of your time workingA cover letter is required to be considered, along with a portfolio of previous works.Required Skills: Proficiency in CapCut for video editing.Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere ProStrong screen presence and interview skills.Familiarity with Calendly for scheduling.Basic skills in photography with a DSLR or mirrorless cameraCommitment to punctuality and meeting deadlines.OrganizationPay Rate: Student Worker 2Hiring Manager: Shawn Moore
