Position Overview

We seek a creative and organized intern to assist with social media management and event planning tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining experience in digital marketing, event coordination, and nonprofit work.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Management: Assist in managing the Center's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers. Content Creation: Help develop engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to promote the Center's mission and events. Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, community outreach programs, and other special events. Research: Conduct research on social media trends, best practices, and potential event venues or partners. Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks related to event planning and social media, such as organizing materials, managing RSVPs, and tracking social media metrics. Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to ensure alignment with the Center's goals and branding. Learning Opportunities

Gain hands-on experience in social media management and digital marketing. Learn the ins and outs of event planning and coordination within a nonprofit setting. Develop skills in content creation, including graphic design and video editing. Contribute to impactful projects that support mental health awareness and community engagement. Network with professionals in the nonprofit sector and related industries. Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field. Strong familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Creativity and a passion for social media and event planning. Interest in nonprofit work and mental health advocacy is a plus
