Your Role Manages the team of Beauty & Personal Care Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing and Business Development by focus on end application (Hair Care, Skin Care, Color cosmetics, etc) based on existing trends. Defines formulation development and claims needed to meet consumer demand in Beauty & Personal Care North America. For Business Development & Technical Marketing, drives new customer acquisition including Indies Brand program, understands emerging trends to share with customers and supplier partners, and develops and tracks KPI's related to specialties pipeline growth. For Strategic Marketing, develops content and manages launches and follow-up for Brenntag-branded products, identifies white space in product portfolio by end application to share with Industry Market Management team for new supplier development, drives content development of Marketing materials by end application, including presentations, brochures and online content, and develops and tracks KPI's related to results of marketing campaigns, including lead generation & follow up, and coordination of efforts with Global Marketing and other outside Marketing Platforms like UL Prospector, SpecialChem, etc.Responsibilities Strategic Marketing: Leads the Strategic Marketing team for North America, driving a high performance, healthy team cultureDevelop thorough market know-how to derive strategies for Beauty & Personal Care North America in line with Global Strategic Marketing strategy.Acts as the North American representative for Global Strategic Marketing or assigns resource for participation as needed.Identifies trends and new opportunities within Beauty & Personal Care that hold business potentialDevelops marketing and business positioning campaigns by end application and push them into the sales organization, supplier partners and customers.Develops and tracks key KPI's for Strategic Marketing including pipeline tracking and development for focus productsDevelops content (presentations, literature, etc.) and launch plans for Brenntag-branded products or Value-Added-Services projects.Strategic part of leadership team in North America defining needs for the appropriate structure to drive sustained business growth.Business Development: Leads the team of Business Development to develop new customers including Indies brands and uncover new trends that can be shared both internally and externally with supplier partners and customersLeads the Technical Marketing team to develop content and be trusted advisor to both customers and supplier partners and develop strategy for strategic portfolio managementDevelops and tracks key Marketing KPI's to share internally and with strategic supplier partnersManages portfolio white spaces and acts as advisor to how we strategically fill those spaces with new supplier partners or through Brenntag branded productsCreates, manages, and communicates market findings to Brenntag peers and supplier partners.Develops and executes marketing strategies with cooperation from our supplier partners and BSP leadershipPerforms broad and/or specific market and product line performance analysis to create related strategies.Works with Account and Sales Managers, Industry Market Managers, regional sales managers, regional VAS teams, Technical Development team and Brenntag business leaders to orchestrate projects within the strategic portfolio to ensure they are planned and executed in alignment with the overall program strategy and plan.Marketing Communication:Provides support and insights for customers to create new marketing campaigns via Global Market Analysis, Consumer Surveys and New Products launches.Defines the themes, priorities and focus areas for exhibitions and participate in regional trade fair activities and ensure coordination of events with Global Marketing.Manages content for external sites like UL Prospector and SpecialChemManages content for website and social media promotions aligning with Supplier Partners and Global MarketingGeneral Management:Support hiring process, develop and coach strong, skilled, motivated Marketing team.Provide Leadership, Coaching, and Orientation to colleagues under Brenntag's culture and values.Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but notlimited to: Brenntag Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy,Confidentiality Agreement, DOL, EEOC etc.Supports the vision and mission of the company.Travel will be required -the extent to which this is the case will depend on each situation and the customer needsOur Offer We aim to create an environment where the best people want to work, where they can turn their passion into their job and realize their full potential.Individual development, on-the-job training, and development programs designed to help our employees grow in their careers.Paid parental leaveEducation assistance programEmployee assistance programVarious healthcare plan options as well as 401(k)Brenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
