The Mesa Marketing Team is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and energetic individual to support our high-functioning department with corporate events, conferences, and daily marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional services or engineering environments, marketing events planning, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
This position will:
- Identify and manage promotional items inventory
- Execute registration for conferences/events
- Assist with conference sponsorship execution
- Manage library of conference materials, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain conference and corporate event calendars
- Coordinate conference and client events logistics, including hotel reservations, packing, ordering supplies, and shipping materials/equipment
- Maintain client and contact information, and manage conference and corporate events data in CRM
- Prepare performance reports
- Coordinate industry and corporate events
- Complete conference wrap-up activities, including unpacking materials/equipment and finalizing expense reports
Travel assistance and support for the Marketing Manager on projects, events, and conferences will be required. Responsibilities will grow with experience and knowledge of marketing fundamentals.
The role includes providing input for market analysis (ROI) from conference feedback, photography (headshots/candid shots), and researching industry best practices.
The position will also support the Digital Asset Specialist in designing, monitoring, and updating Mesas digital assets, ensuring brand integrity and standardization. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The role serves as a backup to the Digital Asset Specialist.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop a plus), strong writing and proofreading skills, presentation skills, organizational and time management abilities, high attention to detail, collaborative mindset, familiarity with CRM systems and email platforms, photography skills a plus.
This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.
Location Requirements:
The selected candidate must report to the Knoxville, TN office on a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.
