Position: Manager, Promotions & Partnerships

Salary Grade: Full Time, Exempt

Salary Range: $70k - $75k

Job Statement

Lead the Promotions & Partnerships Team in developing, executing, and evaluating promotions, marketing partnerships, reception programs, community activations, and community relationships across Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and The Ford seasons.

Essential Functions
  • Concert Marketing & Activations: Manage promotion and partnership initiatives for LA Phil venues, concerts, and initiatives, including receptions and promotional activities.
  • Campaigns: Execute strategic promotion and partnership initiatives supporting season announcements, subscriptions, festivals, and special projects.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgets related to promotion campaigns, receptions, activations, and materials.
  • Partnership Development: Negotiate and implement agreements with media outlets, partners, and community organizations.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor team members, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Community Engagement: Plan and execute off-site promotional activations, managing logistics and volunteer coordination.
  • Media Promotion: Build relationships with LA radio stations and other media outlets.
  • Artist & Program Knowledge: Understand artists and programming to identify target audiences and partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with Analytics team to create targeted offers to drive engagement and sales.
  • Performance Analysis: Establish KPIs, analyze initiatives, and report outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Support on-site activations and extend partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years promotional or marketing experience in LA, preferably in cultural or entertainment sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of LAs cultural landscape and community networks preferred.
  • Experience with audience development and event planning a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
  • Availability for nights and weekends, valid drivers license, reliable transportation.
