WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Were looking for a Senior Manager, Communications Americas who will support the planning and execution of the Americas communications & PR strategy across all DECIEM brands The Ordinary, LooPha, Niod & Avestan.

This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC Flatiron office.

The salary range for this position is $96,100 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOUD BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Own end-to-end program management for major product launches and brand activationsexercising discretion as guided by department objectives and driving moderate to extensive improvements across processes and systems
• Collaborate with global leadership to align local initiatives with enterprise-wide campaigns, ensuring DECIEMs voice and positioning are consistent and effective
• Interact regularly with senior brand, commercial, and corporate stakeholders (e.g., Regional Director of Communications, Global Senior Director of Communications, Pillar VPs) to secure buy-in, negotiate resources, and influence decision-making
• Navigate numerous undefined challengesfrom high-pressure media crises to shifting affiliate-marketing requirementsmaking guided, impactful changes that improve workflows and outcomes
• Build consensus across cross-functional partners (Brand, Social, Creative, Partnerships) through discussion and compromise, ensuring smooth execution of communications plans in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Plan, coordinate, travel to, and execute regional events for the Americas (press days, product launches, media tours), including vendor management, onsite logistics, and travel arrangements for key stakeholders, influencers, and creators
• Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of communications professionalssetting budgets, allocating work, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing feedback to drive regional goals
• Oversee daily press-office operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure timely, high-quality responses to media and influencer inquiries

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• 7+ years of Communications/Public Relations experience in consumer brands (beauty preferred), including at least 2+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus
• Proven track record of developing and launching multi-channel communications programs that drive visibility, EMV growth (30%+ YoY), and engagement.
• Established media relationships with top-tier outlets and demonstrated success securing high-impact coverage.
• Excellent people-leadership skills: ability to mentor, develop talent, foster a collaborative, high-performing team, and coach through ambiguity.
