Contract: 12 Month Contract

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship

Pay: $35/hour - $45/hour on W2

Shift: Hours will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This position is onsite, M-F.

Job Summary

The Military Aircraft Actuation Development Engineering Group is seeking a Design Drafter to work closely with Design, Product, and Manufacturing engineering. The role involves converting complex legacy 2D drawings into 3D solid models to support advanced manufacturing methods. The position requires interpreting various drawings and layouts, utilizing Moogs CAD system, Siemens Teamcenter, and NX to generate solid models and manufacturing information for CAM operations. Competent use of CAD software is essential.

Qualifications include an associate degree in a technical major with 1-3 years of drafting experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, and experience with User Defined Features (UDF) and GD&T is preferred. Due to involvement with certain government programs, US Citizenship is required.

This role reports to the East Aurora actuation site engineering manager and requires onsite work in East Aurora, NY.
