Midland Garage Door is seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and grow the company's online presence across its family of brands. This role will drive engagement, brand awareness, and measurable results through social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, media and public relations initiatives. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns for dealers, customers, and internal audiences.

Essential Duties:

Digital Campaigns

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across social, email, web, and advertising channels. Define KPIs, identify opportunities for growth, and provide insights to improve campaign performance.

Social Media

Plan, create, and publish engaging content and ads for all social media platforms; build audiences, monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages; analyze performance and optimize for results.

Email Marketing

Build and execute email campaigns to dealers and customers; write compelling copy; segment audiences; track performance and recommend improvements.

Public Relations & Media

Write and distribute press releases, articles, and media kits; maintain media contact lists; identify PR opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Digital Advertising

Collaborate with vendors to manage SEO, PPC, social media advertising, and retargeting campaigns.

Content Collaboration

Work with the Marketing team to produce visuals, videos, and other assets for campaigns.

Recruitment Marketing

Develop digital content to support HR recruitment efforts, highlighting company culture and employee stories

Dealer & Co-Op Support

Provide marketing assets and guidance to support dealer campaigns and co-op marketing initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on digital campaign performance; provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Platform & Vendor Management

Manage marketing tools, platforms, and external vendors to ensure campaigns run smoothly and effectively.

Media Content Calendar Management

Create, maintain and coordinate the digital content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and consistent messaging.

Marginal Duties:

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Competencies Required:

Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills

Familiarity with email marketing platforms, social media tools, and analytics dashboards

Knowledge of paid social, Google Ads, PPC, and other digital advertising strategies

Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative teams to deliver campaign assets

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and optimize campaigns

Professional and courteous demeanor on and off the phone, with employees and external contacts.

Contributes to a culture of cooperation and teamwork within and between all departments companywide provides assistance as needed with a can-do attitude.

A skilled communicator. Listens first and speaks second. Thinks about the message they deliver before they say/send it and how the message could be interpreted.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communication and 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or communications; agency experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
