Summary:
As an Associate Manager on our Social Media team, you will be a key player, driving the strategy, execution, and performance of our Instagram and Facebook platforms. This is a pivotal role, requiring a highly skilled individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities with ease, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of social media.
You'll be the go-to expert for Instagram and Facebook, responsible for content creation, platform management, community engagement, and reporting. You'll also contribute to other platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Threads, and X as needed. Your ability to adapt, iterate, and strategize will be crucial to our success. In this role, you'll need to balance creativity with analytical thinking, presenting new ideas, and making data-driven decisions to achieve and exceed
You will be collaborating closely with the Sr. Social Media Manager, another Social Media Associate (TikTok + YouTube), and our Community Manager. Additionally, you will be one of the main faces on Instagram, creating and appearing in content that resonates with our audience and reflects our brand voice.
Functions and duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
•Lead the strategy, content creation, and day-to-day management of our Two of our platforms (Instagram and Facebook but subject to change based off of need), ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
•Can quickly edit TikToks, Reels and plus if you have any graphic design background (even if it's Canva) to create Meme's or static edits (collages, etc.)
•Strong eye for content caption
•Manage and engage with our community across Instagram and Facebook, fostering positive relationships and driving engagement.
•Create, post, and manage content calendars for Instagram and Facebook, including some weekends and holidays.
•Analyze performance metrics for Instagram and Facebook, generating reports and providing actionable insights to optimize our strategies.
•Stay up-to-date with social media trends, particularly in Instagram and Facebook, to keep our content relevant and culturally in tune.
•Collaborate with the social media team to brainstorm and implement creative ideas for all platforms.
•Assist in the development of high-quality copy and content that aligns with our brand voice across various platforms.
•Handle outreach, negotiation, contracts, and payment management for creators and influencers.
•Participate in monthly social retrospectives and larger marketing retrospectives after campaigns and launches, presenting metrics/ findings and recommendations.
•Thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without compromising on quality or creativity.
•Travel as needed for content creation, events and meetings.
•Adapt to changing priorities and be prepared to take on additional platform responsibilities as needed.
•Extensive experience in social media management, with a strong focus on Instagram and Facebook.
•Proven track record in strong content creation, editing and trend finding, including being a face of the brand on social platforms.
•Develop ideas that support the Social Media Teams strategy for each campaign to bring the overall campaign concept to life across our social channels
