Description: This critical design role supports the IRIS 2.0 modernization project, replacing the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation's case management system. Candidates will work on self-directed teams reviewing legacy systems, understanding business needs, designing workflows, wireframing, prototyping, conducting usability research, and championing modern design principles. The role involves designing accessible, intuitive UI components leveraging material design to create a user-friendly system for DVR users.

Responsibilities:

  • Development experience in web and client-server applications, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and support
  • Recommending programming languages and design tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools

  • Experience working in large, complex organizations
  • Knowledge of SDLC deliverables and testing plans
