Semmes Murphey Clinic is looking for an experienced Design and Visual Brand Manager to join our team! This role is ideal for a creative leader who can independently manage a wide range of design projects to support both external marketing and internal communications at Semmes Murphey Clinic. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design all clinic marketing materials: brochures, signs, merchandise, digital ads, social media graphics, the company website, etc.
- Prepare files for print and manage relationships with print vendors
- Support various internal departments with design needs
- Work extensively in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva Pro, various asset storage platforms
- Handle ad versioning and resizing for different formats and placements
- Maintain organized systems for all design files, templates, and branding assets
- Analyze the effectiveness of design initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Maintain brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual representation
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field
- Five (5) years experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across digital, print, and branded formats (required for consideration)
- Familiarity with managing photoshoots and coordinating with creative vendors
- Experience in Canva Pro, Google Slides, and asset storage platforms (Dropbox, Google Drive)
PREFERRED
- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design or a related discipline
- Experience with Video Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar and basic motion graphics (After Effects, Canva animations)
- Web design experience (UI/layout/design systems); no coding required, but familiarity is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Strong grasp of design principles: layout, typography, color theory, and branding
- Can execute creative projects independently while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines v
- Will maintain a polished and professional presence
- Can manage various responsibilities with multiple deadlines and competing demands
- Reliable transportation to and from various locations throughout the metro area during the workday
