POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting ASCCPs communications, marketing and membership engagement strategies. This individual will assist in the planning, creation, execution and analysis of marketing campaigns across digital, print and event-based platforms. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for a creative, organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and project management skills.
Marketing & Communications
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to support ASCCPs programs, events, products and membership.
Create and schedule engaging content across email, website and social media platforms.
Assist in the production and distribution of ASCCPs e-newsletters and promotional e-mails.
Collaborate with the design team to produce branded digital and print assets (flyers, brochures, ads, web graphics, etc.).
Coordinate marketing deliverables for educational programs, webinars and the annual scientific meeting.
Content Management & Social Media
Collaborate with the webmaster to maintain/update the ASCCP website with timely and relevant content.
Draft and schedule posts across social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram), aligning messaging with organizational goals and events.
Monitor analytics and provide reports on campaign and social media performance, engagement and trends.
Membership & Engagement Support
Assist with member recruitment, retention and engagement initiatives.
Develop marketing content to promote ASCCP membership benefits, renewals and onboarding.
Help manage surveys and gather feedback to improve the member experience.
Event Marketing
Support promotional campaigns for the ASCCP Annual Scientific Meeting and other educational events.
Assist with event communications, signage, on-site branding and post-event evaluations.
Administrative & Cross-Departmental Support
Maintain organized marketing calendars, files and reports.
Ensure consistent use of ASCCPs brand identity across all platforms.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on messaging and campaign goals.
Perform other duties as assigned to support ASCCPs mission and strategic priorities.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
13 years of marketing experience, preferably within a membership-based organization, medical society, or non-profit environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), CMS (e.g., WordPress), social media tools and analytics platforms.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
A self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for mission-driven work.
Preference given to candidates living within driving distance of the DMV.
