A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay, Inc. A Kids Place is currently recruiting for a full-time Marketing & Development Operations Manager. This position is for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven professional who supports and strengthens the daily operations of our Development and Communications team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of marketing projects, communications plans, and donor engagement strategies, while keeping the team aligned with key deadlines and priorities. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with team members and external partners to enhance efficiency, improve communication workflows, and help ensure the overall success of fundraising and donor stewardship efforts.

The Marketing & Development Operations Manager will report to the Development Director. This is a full-time position, salary, and exempt . Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Pay: $55K annually

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Project Management & Team Coordination

Ensure timely execution of the development and communications calendar by aligning the team with key deadlines and deliverables Foster a proactive workflow by anticipating needs, identifying bottlenecks, and streamlining internal processes Serve as the primary liaison between A Kids Place and external partners, including graphic designers, printers, and vendors Manage vendor and grant-related contracts and timelines

Marketing & Communications Oversight

Manage production timelines and content development for key materials, including the annual report, newsletters, print collateral, and branded items Lead execution and content development of email communications (2x/month) and ensure consistent, engaging donor messaging Maintain and oversee existing email marketing automations to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness in donor stewardship

Website & Digital Presence

Oversee and implement regular website updates, including content changes, blog/news posts, and event listings Support and coordinate progress on the organizations website redesign project, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met Manage and monitor Google Ad Grants for compliance and performance Maintain updates to the Simply Book platform (used for scheduling campus tours)

Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that aligns with fundraising goals and enhances brand awareness Track progress and performance of marketing initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement Create and document internal processes and workflows to ensure consistency and sustainability Other Duties/Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to align donor messaging and reinforce the organizations voice and values in marketing materials. Represent A Kids Place as a speaker to groups as requested, sharing A Kids Place vision and mission and how these groups can be involved or make an impact. Provide tours of the facility as needed. Other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to pass a Level 2 FDLE background screen, drug screen, and local background screen upon initial hire and annually thereafter. Possession of a valid drivers license and eligibility for acceptance by the companys insurance carrier. Reliable in arriving on time and ready to perform job duties, with flexibility to work all assigned shifts and hours. Maintain a professional demeanor to clients, staff, and external parties. Must be culturally sensitive and able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel and children. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana), email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). Demonstrated success managing complex projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong time-management abilities with a demonstrated capacity to multi-task efficiently. Exceptional organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with all employees while complying with EEOC rules and accepting constructive feedback from management in a professional manner.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree preferred and/or equal or higher amount of working experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit marketing, project coordination, or communications.
