. This position is temporary for SY2025-2026.

The Library Paraprofessional will oversee the daily functions of the CRHS Library, ensuring it is a well-organized, welcoming, and accessible space for students and staff. This position will focus on resource organization, technology support, and assisting students in accessing materials for academic and personal growth. Individuals who will be eligible or possess a Paraeducator permit issued by Delaware Department of Education are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply online.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain the organization and inventory of all library materials (print, digital, and multimedia). Assist students and staff with locating and using resources. Create a welcoming environment that supports reading, research, and learning. Assist in coordinating library events, displays, and special projects. Ensure the library is a safe, supervised space at all times. REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or its recognized equivalent

and

passing score of 459 or higher on the ParaPro Assessment (ETS ParaPro)

OR

Associate Degree or minimum of 60 college credits (regionally accredited; and earned "C" or better - DDOE provides final approval for credits accepted). SALARY:

In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation. All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
