Business Development Responsibilities Work with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement effective learning experiences using innovative solutions. Develop curriculum applying adult learning principles and techniques for various training programs. Support the Learning and Development team by maintaining SharePoint and LMS resources. Research, design, and develop training materials for self-directed, experiential, and formal learning. Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and objectives. Translate policies into effective training materials. Utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools, exploring new training technologies. Assist in developing new course curricula with Subject Matter Experts. Proofread and edit training materials for quality and consistency. Manage training projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with the L&D team to solve problems within tight deadlines. Review instructor performance and suggest improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience designing and facilitating interactive multimedia learning experiences. Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques. Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Articulate, Vyond, WellSaid Labs). Bachelor's degree required; specific training in Instructional Design preferred. Experience in corporate training or education preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual). Knowledge of adult learning theory. Strong project management and organizational skills. Construction industry experience is a plus. This position may require travel to support off-site events a few times a year. It is primarily based in the office, with some flexibility for remote work after the initial employment period.
