Content Strategy Consultant

Genesis10 is seeking a Content Strategy Consultant. This is a contract position with an insurance client in Milwaukee, WI, lasting over 3 months. Compensation: $24.00 - 25.00 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting in the organization and management of content across various platforms, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with brand and style guidelines. Adherence to the style guide and assistance with the effective use of the content management system (CMS) is required. Contributing to the development of content processes to support a cohesive UX ecosystem and coordinating with team members to maintain a consistent content calendar are also part of the role. Supporting content authors across the enterprise by providing training and guidance on content best practices, developing resources and training materials, and supporting the creation of engaging, informative, and user-friendly content for the employee intranet and across the HR content ecosystem are essential. Collaborating with content strategists and designers to draft and edit content, working closely with UX research and design teams on content-related tasks, providing logistical and administrative support across EXD teams, and participating in team meetings to contribute ideas for content improvement and innovation are also required. Requirements include a Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in content management or creation in product, marketing, or tech organizations, agencies, freelance, coursework, or internships is required; professional experience is a plus. A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of organizational skills are necessary. A basic understanding of UX principles and content strategy is desirable. Strong writing skills and command of the English language (grammar, spelling, and vocabulary) are essential. Interest in UX writing, ability to adhere to brand voice, tone, and style requirements, ability to juggle multiple projects, adaptability to ever-changing priorities, ability to collaborate, seek clarity, and work independently, willingness to help teammates and learn from them, strong work ethic, ability to maintain high levels of output, openness to receive feedback/constructive critiques as well as provide it, strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and ability to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view are also required.
