What You Do

Responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating high-impact learning solutions that support foundational skills, leadership development, and operational excellence. Collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), HR representatives, and operational leaders to foster a culture of learning that promotes individual growth and enhances organizational performance across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:

Training Design & Development Designs interactive, learner-centered instructional materials aligned with MTM's goals and values. Develops foundational training content (e.g., workplace communication, safety mindset, continuous improvement) that motivates team members to perform at their best. Maintains a consistent instructional style and visual identity across all training materials. Utilizes authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) to deliver blended learning experiences. Applies adult learning principles and instructional systems design to ensure training relates to real-world work environments. Problem Solving & A3 Facilitation

Guide teams and individuals through structured problem-solving (PDCA/A3) processes. Coaches individuals and teams through the A3 process to reinforce lean behaviors and support operational excellence. Provide feedback and resources to reinforce continuous improvement behaviors. Training Delivery & Facilitation

Deliver in-person and blended training sessions across multiple departments and shifts. Conduct engaging Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare subject matter experts for effective facilitation and training. Role model effective presentation and facilitation techniques. Evaluation & Audits

Apply the Kirkpatrick Model and other frameworks to evaluate training effectiveness. Conducts audits to ensure alignment with standardized work, compliance requirements, and learning objectives. Develops insights and reports for leadership based on evaluation data, learner feedback, and business results. Learning Technology & Innovation

Remains current on emerging technologies that enhance accessibility, engagement, and scalability of training. Manages LMS content and user experience to drive adoption and usage. Markets learning opportunities using creative strategies that motivate participation and increase visibility of development programs. What You Bring

High School Diploma and/or GED. Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning theory. Experience developing both digital and instructor-led training. May require travel between manufacturing facilities. Ability to deliver training on the production floor, in training rooms, or virtually. Occasional evening or early morning sessions to support multi-shift operations. What Will Set You Apart

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field. 2+ years of experience in instructional design, adult education, or training development. Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry. Experience facilitating training and/or problem-solving (PDCA, A3) in a manufacturing setting. Firsthand experience facilitating PDCA or A3 problem-solving efforts. Familiarity with Toyota Business Practices (TBP), lean principles, or Kaizen. Experience with evaluation tools (Kirkpatrick, ROI models, pulse surveys). Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPLP, CPTD, Six Sigma). What We Offer
