ABOUT THE ROLE
Were hiring a Head of Marketing & Creative Strategy to work directly with our founder and lead the full 360 marketing ecosystem: brand, content, ecommerce, community, collaborations, influencer, PR, and product alignment. You'll own storytelling, systems, and strategy while keeping your finger on the pulse of culture and commerce.
Youll bring both the eye and the engine: a visionary who understands aesthetic storytelling, but who also thrives on building strategy, driving performance, and optimizing execution across all marketing channels.
Youll take the creative vision our founder has built over the last decade and scale it through structured marketing, performance insights, community engagement, and next-level execution. This is a brand-led, data-backed, community-driven leadership role and youre not afraid to get your hands dirty.
WHAT YOULL OWN
Marketing Strategy & Performance
Own the full marketing calendar and campaign engine across all channels ensuring alignment of brand via voice, tone, aesthetic, and brand DNA.
Use data from GA4, Shopify, LTK (Like to Know It), ShopMy, and channel tools to build strategies that convert while protecting the brand aesthetic.
Lead lifecycle strategy in partnership with ecommerce + retention teams to increase LTV, repeat rate, and product velocity.
Guide landing page, PDP, and funnel strategies alongside ecommerce team to ensure creative is optimized for conversion.
Creative Direction & Brand Cohesion
Translate the founders vision into executable campaigns that perform, both visually and emotionally.
Own campaign ideation, briefs, photoshoot direction, final asset approval, and creative QA across all platforms, both on and offline.
Work directly with designers and copywriters to produce polished, high-converting, and on-brand marketing assets.
Build and protect brand systems and visual consistency across all consumer touchpoints, digital, physical, and community.
Community Building & Organic Growth
Develop marketing initiatives that drive real community connection, surprise & delight moments, IRL activations, group chat-worthy content, and loyalty-driving programs.
Be a voice for the 12th Tribe girlwhat she wears, where she goes, how she speaks, what gets her attention.
Lead organic campaigns and storytelling strategies that grow brand love without paid spend in conjunction with online efforts, events, partnerships, and organic social channels.
Identify brand-right ways to build relationships through DMs, micro-moments, pop-ups, gifting, and experiential events.
Influencer, PR & Events
Oversee influencer and gifting strategy ensuring selects, messaging, and ROI are on point.
Manage external PR and influencer agencies, aligning on brand voice, product moments, and revenue-driving campaigns.
Lead all retail and community event strategies from Aspen to Miami to the bachelorette suite.
Distribute campaign revenue goals and calendar to external partners, giving clear direction and holding them accountable.
Oversee, manage, and grow all LTK (Like to Know It) and ShopMy Affiliate Creator Networks.
Product & Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as a connective tissue between product, marketing, and ecommerce, aligning on drops, reorders, creative timelines, and merchandising opportunities.
Translate marketing feedback and customer insights into product assortment recommendations.
Partner with planning to help guide where we invest creatively and financially based on trends and performance.
Leadership & Execution
Be a hands-on leader to brand, content, and social team members, mentoring, refining, and guiding daily output.
Support junior team members; be both a strategic lead and an executional support.
Structure creative review cadences with Creative Director, design, and performance teams to keep velocity high and feedback sharp.
Bring systems, briefs, campaign trackers, and communication structures that increase efficiency and clarity across the team.
Manage and lead a team of designers, social media influencers, PR, editors, photographers, and junior brand managers.
YOURE A FIT IF :
Background in scaling influencer and ambassador programs.
7-10 years of experience in marketing, brand, or content, ideally in a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle DTC brand.
3-5 Years of experience managing teams.
Youve led brand + performance marketing teams and understand both aesthetics and conversion.
Youre fluent in collaborations, events, partnerships, tech stack analytics, scaling influencer programs, TikTok trends, and Shopify analytics.
You understand what moves product, builds brand loyalty, and turns a post into a moment.
Youve worked closely with product, ecommerce, and planning teams to align creative with inventory and drops.
You care about culture, obsess over details, and want to build something iconic, not just push content.
BONUS POINTS IF :
Youve worked at brands like Meshki, DISSH, Monday Swimwear, House of CB, or other high-growth digitally native brands.
Youve led DAM or creative organization overhauls and cleaned up complicated systems.
Youve built cross-channel, community-driven programs that deepen brand engagement.
Youve scaled a team or taken a brand from startup to success.
