Description
The Director, Brand Marketing partners with the VP to support brand strategy development and calendar planning. They lead the execution of integrated brand marketing and digital marketing plans to achieve sales and profit goals, continually enhancing brand relevance, consumer engagement, and market share. This position collaborates cross-functionally and with external partners to implement and monitor the effectiveness of integrated marketing campaigns, events, national promotions, paid/earned/owned media, and initiatives. The goal is to optimize the franchisee and guest experience, drive store traffic, and increase profitability. The role is accountable for the marketing strategic plan, media and promotion performance optimization, in-shop and in-market creative, and digital/off-premise acceleration by providing leadership, direction, and support to meet the team’s objectives.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, business, advertising, or related field preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Work Experience
8+ years in marketing, business administration, sales, or related field preferred
8+ years developing and executing marketing plans and programs preferred
5+ years of leadership experience preferred
Experience in retail, restaurant, food, or beverage preferred
Experience leveraging media, promotions, and public relations to drive results preferred
Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of developing and executing marketing plans across multiple platforms
Ability to analyze and evaluate traditional and interactive media, marketing effectiveness, sales, and competitive trends
Ability to create program goals, messaging, communication, and event plans
Ability to mentor, motivate, and guide staff; drive accountability; provide constructive feedback; recognize achievements
Effective communication skills, active listening, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement
Ability to present to stakeholders convincingly
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster mutual respect and trust
