Summary/Objective:

The Social Content Creator is responsible for crafting compelling, platform-native content that brings brands to life on social media. This role blends creativity, storytelling, and strategic thinking to produce content that not only connects with audiences but drives engagement and results. From snappy captions to dynamic video scripts, the Social Content Creator is at the heart of digital storytelling, ensuring content feels fresh, culturally relevant, and brand-aligned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize creative and native formats for social platforms (Reels, Stories, TikTok, etc.).
  • Write captions and snackable scripts for campaigns, always-on content, and influencer collaborations.
  • Identify real-time trends, cultural moments, and platform opportunities to integrate into content strategy.
  • Build editorial and content calendars that reflect brand tone, narrative, and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with influencers: what to say, how to say it, and with whom to say it.
  • Produce content that connects emotionally, entertains authentically, and drives business outcomes.
  • Serve as a creative partner to videographers, photographers, and editors—ideating and directing content shoots.
  • Present creative ideas to clients, articulating the concept's value and adjusting based on feedback.
  • Partner with the strategy, accounts, and design teams to ensure brand alignment and campaign consistency.
  • Responsible for maintaining the professional and technical knowledge required to perform the duties, especially in the digital space.
  • Responsible in keeping up to date with digital trends and changes
  • Responsible to comply with all Company’s policies as described in the Employee Manual

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but requires strong cross-functional collaboration with production, accounts, and design teams. But also does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department

Preferred Education and Related Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Creative Writing, Communications, Advertising, or Digital Media.
  • 1–3 years of experience in content creation, digital campaigns, or social media copywriting.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, platform-native content, and engagement strategies.

Knowledge and Critical Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and digital audiences.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing dynamics and branded content.
  • Ability to synthesize insights and trends into actionable content ideas.
  • Comfort working with Adobe Suite, Google Docs, and collaborative creative tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) preferred.
