Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer/production artist who can support our creative team to execute a wide array and a large volume of creative projects. You will be responsible for designing and editing graphics and images for a variety of media, including print collateral, digital ads and emails. This includes, but is not limited to, layout creation, modification and asset versioning, as well as typesetting, image manipulation and production work as needed. Must be creative as well as technical, with excellent computer skills and knowledge of relevant software applications, including InDesign, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The designer must have the ability to collaborate on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment and work well under pressure.

Key responsibilities:

• Work within brand standards and guidelines, for both, Effy and respective retail partners
• Create, produce and adapt various design layouts to spec, supporting the project objectives
• Reformat supplied artwork and photo project specifications
• Retouch, clip paths and make adjustments to image files as needed for specific specs and ratios
• Prep final files to supply specifications for various print and digital formats
• Create layout comps, rough and presentation materials as requested
• Revise and modify large volumes of assets as requested
• Present to and review work with art directors, copywriters and marketing team
• Collect final artwork and manage the asset management system to ensure design work can be used in future projects
• Work efficiently and accurately through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines
• Ensure clear communication of deliverables and progress, working closely with art directors and project managers
• Maintain accuracy in deliverables as well as communication
• Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
• Expert proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator), Figma, Microsoft Office, and Acrobat
• Knowledge of the Windows platform
• Experience in project management tools (Asana preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (speak, read, and write)
• Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated drive for perfection
• Organizational and prioritization skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once while adhering to tight deadlines
• Ability to prepare art for print/ production or manufacture
• General knowledge of substrates and media
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
