Network Coordinating Producer / Senior Network Coordinating Producer

BYUtv is seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Coordinating Producer to join our production team. This role may be hired as either a Network Coordinating Producer or a Senior Coordinating Producer depending on qualifications and experience.
The Network Coordinating Producer / Senior Network Coordinating Producer oversees and evaluates all logistical aspects of the development and production of original broadcast and digital content for BYU Broadcasting platforms. Reporting to the Director of Production Operations, this role collaborates closely with the Director of Content, senior producers, and key departments such as Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment across creative, operational, and strategic goals. This role is accountable for producing content that aligns with network strategy, meets budgetary and scheduling goals, and upholds the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to managing production logistics, this role plays a key part in supporting stories that uplift and inspire. The Coordinating Producer mentors student employees, fosters collaboration across teams, and contributes to a values-driven media environment. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced production settings and are passionate about creating meaningful, mission-aligned content.
What You’ll Do In This Position
- Lead logistical planning and execution for assigned productions from development through delivery.
- Oversee production operations to ensure content is completed on time and within budget.
- Manage the Project Initiation workflow and greenlight process.
- Coordinate production facilities, equipment, technical resources, and staff.
- Develop and approve contracts, schedules, and staffing plans for current and upcoming projects.
- Track project budgets and delivery milestones in BYUB systems.

- Facilitate coordination with Content, Programming, Digital Media, and Marketing to optimize production support and distribution.
- Contribute to operational planning by recommending improvements for workflow efficiency and resource management.
What qualifies you for this role:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Bachelor’s in TV/media production or related field + 5 years producing experience
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s in TV/media production or related field + 5 years senior-level management experience in producing, scheduling, and budgeting
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Starting Pay
Level 54: $79,500.00 to $103,500.00
Level 55: $89,500.00 to $116,000.00
