About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President or Vice President of Marketing with a strong background in MedTech, particularly in the hospital space. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for the company's first commercial product, with a focus on market segmentation, positioning, and pricing. This role requires a hands-on leader who can define the value proposition and messaging to effectively communicate the impact of the technology to key stakeholders, including clinicians, hospital administrators, payers, and distributors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years' experience in a senior marketing leadership role within MedTech, with a proven track record of leading product launches that have a significant impact on clinical delivery and patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities for the SVP/VP of Marketing include commercial strategy and market development, branding and product positioning, demand generation, and sales enablement. The role demands a professional with a background in both upstream and downstream marketing, who is adept at building and evolving brand identity, developing marketing collateral, and driving thought leadership through various channels. The candidate should be experienced in multi-channel demand generation campaigns, and be able to partner closely with the sales team to develop tools and strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention. Market intelligence and performance tracking are also critical, with a focus on refining strategy through ongoing research and analysis. The role is pivotal in the commercialization process, and the successful candidate will work cross-functionally with R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
