Kisling, Nestico & Redick is one of the largest plaintiff firms in Ohio with offices statewide. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant. This role focuses on fostering internal engagement, managing external community initiatives, and promoting our firm's values. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, enjoy planning events, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Update and edit company website
- Organize marketing events and projects
- Event planning and coordination
- Serve as team lead for project management software
- Compose and send newsletters
- Manage email database
- Work with clients and marketing team to plan events
- Edit and review content of various correspondence for accuracy, spelling, and appropriateness for targeted audience
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication through digital analytics
- Write, edit, and produce content for both print and digital communications; includes emails, press releases and newsletters
- Assist in graphic design creation and layout of marketing material
- Create monthly social calendars for internal use
- Provide insights and identify new opportunities
- Stay up-to-date on marketing trends
- Assist with plans, research, and the execution of firm events
- Provide administrative support to the department
- Provide support and relief to team members as needed
- Assist Director of Corporate Communications as needed
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Other duties may be assigned

- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline is preferred
- Marketing, communications, or administrative experience is preferred
- Experience in event planning and community outreach preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator)
- Must have strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word
- Superior oral and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
- Ability to think critically and communicate clearly
- Willing to get the job done even when its outside of scope
- Exceptional attention to detail while prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and staying organized
- Ability to work independently and motivate others
- Ability to change direction and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
