Mechanical Designer Job at GCR Technical Staffing in Cambridge

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Multiple Openings, 40 hours weekly 100% Onsite
6+ months Contract

U.S. citizenship required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 15-20 years of relevant professional experience is preferred
• Experience with instrumentation and support systems for large scale scientific instrumentation is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of the following Solidworks:
• Standard toolset
• Sheet metal toolset
• Simulation toolset
• Topology optimization toolset
• Weldment toolset
• DimXpert toolset
• Drawing toolset

Need GD&T, understanding materials, finish treatments, machining processes, >15 yrs CAD preferably Solidworks (or demonstrable mastery with examples), experience with optics drawings and mounting optics, more than 15 years experience in a highly technical field. We need a senior mechanical designer that will work directly under the guidance of a senior mechanical engineer.
