Senior Social Media Strategist & Manager
to lead social strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in client-facing settings, can translate platform performance into strategic insights, and has the creativity and confidence to push brands forward in today’s fast-paced social landscape.
The Role This senior-level position is responsible for leading strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. While not currently a direct people management role, it requires strong cross-functional leadership, client-facing communication, and an ability to collaborate across PR, content, design, influencer, and paid media teams. The role is directly accountable for
client retention and social campaign performance
— including organic and influencer strategies — with ownership from strategy through execution.
Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Leadership Lead client calls and presentations, translating platform performance into clear, actionable insights. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and innovative approaches. Collaborate with PR, design, content, and paid teams to ensure integrated strategies. Real-Time Awareness & Brand Safety Monitor platform trends and recommend timely content responses. Provide guidance during time-sensitive or crisis moments to ensure brand voice consistency. Stay vigilant around brand safety, cultural awareness, and reputational risks. Content & Platform Strategy Develop and execute strategies across all major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, X, Facebook). Confidently manage all content formats: short-form video, carousels, LinkedIn documents, interactive tools. Create and edit short-form videos and social visuals in-house using tools such as Canva and Figma, minimizing reliance on external design or video teams. Tailor content to evolving platform algorithms and engagement models. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with PR, content, influencer, and design leads to deliver cohesive campaigns. Contribute to integrated campaign planning and ideation sessions. Serve as a subject-matter expert to both internal teams and clients. Data, Reporting & Optimization Translate analytics into actionable recommendations for growth and engagement. Build dashboards or reporting frameworks to track campaign performance and ROI. Leverage AI tools for trend monitoring, content ideation, and workflow optimization. Tech & Workflow Readiness Utilize social scheduling and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, or native tools). Embrace AI-powered tools to enhance ideation and content generation. Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in social media strategy and execution (agency or in-house). Proven success managing multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously. Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly. Deep knowledge of platform algorithms, content formats, and amplification strategies. Proficiency in Canva, Figma, and short-form video editing for in-house content creation. Great with social tools like Sprout Social, capcut, AI tools, and scheduling tools alike. Experience with analytics dashboards and scheduling tools. Comfort with AI tools and an openness to adopting new technologies. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under deadlines. Growth Path Depending on agency needs and individual performance, this role may evolve to include
team leadership, mentorship, or operational oversight.
We welcome applicants interested in growing into management or deepening their expertise as a senior individual contributor.
