Overview
Locations: Grand Island, NE or Kearney, NE.
Olsson is an employee-owned engineering and design firm focused on improving communities. Our Site Design team provides multidisciplinary preliminary and construction design for mixed-use, commercial, residential land development, and related site types. As a Design Technician on the Site Design team, you will prepare planning and design documents and process design calculations. You will typically work independently on these designs with guidance from your supervisor; you may lead less experienced staff and may attend client meetings or perform construction observation as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare planning and design documents and perform design calculations for site development projects.
- Work independently with occasional supervisor guidance; may supervise less experienced staff.
- Attend client meetings and perform construction observation as needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- Ability to contribute effectively on a team and take ownership of your work.
