Overview
The Designer is responsible for creating interface and visual solutions for a range of digital media. As part of the design team, they are involved in developing, iterating and executing design solutions for a diverse range of interactive media and digital experiences.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 2+ days in our Watertown, MA office per week, and occasional project travel.
Starting salary range is $62,000–$70,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Create effective, compelling, well crafted, design systems
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, motion designers and UX specialists to develop appropriate interface and visual design approaches
- Collaborate with developers to create production-ready assets for development and to ensure the integrity of visual design
- Contribute to and produce process books (and other documents) for client submittals
Designers may also:
- Create custom illustration and/or iconography for integration into media
- Design and build animated or motion graphics elements
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and/or craft various marketing materials

Job Qualifications
- Design degree (graphic, interaction, communication, media or other related field)
- 2+ years of professional work experience in graphic and/or interaction design preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, typographic refinement, and pixel-perfect design
- High-level proficiency with Adobe design software including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience in 3-D, illustration, animation and/or motion graphics is a plus
