Job Description:

This is a virtual, unpaid internship position for a Market Analyst Journalist at _A Hot Set_. The role involves creating content related to the entertainment industry, targeted at _A Hot Set’s_ demographic, with a focus on the business and financial aspects.

• Weekly Responsibilities: Produce a weekly column analyzing the business side of the entertainment industry across all sectors. This includes:
• Providing an inside look at the impact of decisions made in C-Suites and boardrooms.
• Examining mergers & acquisitions.
• Analyzing market values on stock exchanges.
• Profiling media founders, executives, and companies.
• Special Coverage: Write occasional analyses of market reports and audience demographic data.
• Qualifications:
• Aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry.
• Aptitude/interest in analyzing market data.
• Critical and intellectual thinking skills to write fact-based analyses.
• Background or journalistic skillset in business, finance, or economics.
• Duration: 6 months.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Virtual, but residents of Metro Los Angeles and New York City are strongly encouraged to apply.
