What You’ll Do

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead UX Designer to play a key role in shaping the digital surfaces across Tailored Brands’ online and in-store experiences. In this role, you will lead complex design initiatives, align technical, operational, and business objectives into a cohesive experience strategy, and ensure the creation of considered and innovative user experiences. You will also work closely with senior product and experience leadership to define and execute the UX/UI strategy for our eCommerce and Rental channels, as well as our in-store technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex experience initiatives that span across multiple digital platforms and teams.
  • Mentor and guide other UX/UI designers through your work, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of design systems to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct user research and synthesize findings to guide data-driven design decisions through the product discovery lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to align experience strategy with business goals.
  • Stay current on the latest experience trends and technologies to drive innovation in our digital experiences.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with deep expertise in design systems and mobile-first design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX-related field (HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading large design initiatives and mentoring other designers.
  • Strong knowledge of user research methods, including ethnographic research, A/B testing, and usability testing.
  • Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present design strategies at a senior level.

Work Environment & Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods
  • Able to sit/stand as needed; able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, in a hybrid work environment from our Dublin, California office or remote location

Compensation & Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $127,700 – $163,600. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, total compensation may grow to as much as $195,000, and may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan bonus. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
