Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects PSAT Writing Skills tutors with thousands of students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform to deliver 1-on-1 online PSAT Writing Skills instruction.
• Be matched with students who fit your teaching style and expertise.
• Utilize the Tutor Copilot AI features to enhance lessons, generate materials, and boost engagement.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and rely on Varsity Tutors to handle payments.
• Ways to connect with students: 1-on-1 online tutoring and instant tutoring on-demand when you’re available.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with the potential to reach up to $40/hour for continued sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for sessions you conduct.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring with no commuting required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Preference given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
