Varsity Tutors' Live Learning Platform connects tutors with thousands of students nationwide for online PSAT Writing Skills tutoring. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with earnings for the same student potentially reaching up to $40/hour.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance sessions.
• We handle logistics—you invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Offer on-demand tutoring sessions as availability allows.
• Use Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely.
• Match with students that fit your teaching style and expertise.
