Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform offers online PSAT Writing Skills tutoring with flexible scheduling, competitive rates, and the ability to impact students’ learning journeys from home.

Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn higher pay for each session with the same student, up to $40/hour. You’ll be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform with no commuting required. We match you with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance teaching impact. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online PSAT Writing Skills tutoring to individual students.
• Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Explain concepts clearly and present information in an engaging way.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions and leverage available tools to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
