The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online Elementary School Writing tutors with thousands of students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from home.

What You’ll Do

• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.


• Provide high-quality, personalized Elementary School Writing instruction to individual students or small groups.


• Adapt lessons to different learning styles, track progress, and adjust pacing as needed.


• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.


• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects, up to $40/hour for repeated sessions with the same student.


• Get paid up to twice per week for completed tutoring sessions.


• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.


• Expertise in Elementary School Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.


• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.


• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.
