Position Summary
Senior UX Manager, you will lead a team to articulate the strategy and design for Walmart’s omni-channel commerce products and experiences. You will bring together retail and consumer services as customers interact with us online, in apps, or in stores. This work will allow you to innovate and directly impact millions of customers every day. Our goal is to create a hyper-personalized experience that is so indispensable our customers cannot live without it, helping households save money and live better. You will set the vision for the best customer experience and create a space for cross-functional colleagues to collaborate. You will apply Design Thinking, collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage collective creativity. You will use storytelling to present your vision and design rationale to the wider team, and you will work with partners to balance business and technology considerations to deliver a highly engaging, usable, pixel-perfect experience with your team.
About the Team
The Health & Wellness team designs and builds products to help millions of customers and patients with their critical personal healthcare needs. You will contribute to omnichannel solutions that deliver care across Walmart's pharmacy, optical, and clinical offerings. You will collaborate across teams to serve the whole patient as they navigate their personal health journey. This is Walmart.
This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are expanding our design community in our new campus.

Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and design for omni-channel commerce products and experiences that serve a broad Walmart customer base.
- Bring together retail and consumer services for customers online, in apps, and in stores.
- Set the vision for the best customer experience and enable cross-functional collaboration.
- Apply Design Thinking to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes.
- Present design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to stakeholders and the wider team.
- Deliver pixel-perfect, highly usable experiences and champion customer-centric design.
Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. 2 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and 7+ years of experience in product design.
- Strong portfolio of elegant design solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
