Public Relations Senior Managing Director/Managing Director Location: Atlanta Primary (Nashville secondary). Open to qualified candidates in other areas, but with a focus in these regions.

Responsibilities We are searching for a Senior Managing Director/Managing Director that will play a critical role with DRIVEN360. This position requires experience in leadership, business development, client management and team building, but also requires a proven track record of years of successful client activations. In this position you will roll up your sleeves working in the trenches alongside the team. The ideal candidate will know how to balance multiple clients serving as a partnership lead with communications skills that keep clients motivated and engaged.

Successful candidates will operate as part of a cross-functional team that touches every part of the business. A successful candidate can expect to grow rapidly and will be exposed to multiple aspects of the marketing communications mix in a fast-paced, agile team environment.

Education and Experience

8-10 years of relevant PR experience.

Proven record of accomplishment with examples in management/leadership roles

Relevant case studies with your own program successes.

A viable and clear understanding of the greater tech industry or automotive industry. If you happen to have both, this will elevate your resume.

Real-life writing experience, with past published materials across press releases, media alerts, blogs and more is strongly preferred. Writing samples will be requested.

Demonstrable media hits and overall media results across a variety of industries. (This will play a key part in our evaluation.)

Extensive pitching and pitch writing experience.

Collecting and analyzing client media coverage.

Basic written and verbal client communication skills.

Understanding of traditional PR and marketing strategies and media relations strategies.

Proven event experience in key markets. Must show that you have developed programming: event/media tour in a major city. (New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta)

Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising or communications.

Skills and Abilities

Action-Oriented – You have a strong work ethic and time/task management skills, taking initiative across various projects.

Strategic and Creative Thinking – You are able to look at the big picture of client needs, outside of daily action items and display your creativity and ability to think outside the box across communications and planning.

Strong, versatile writing skills that can be applied across various PR/marketing communications – with the ability to switch to vastly different styles on the fly.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Team Player – You must be a true team player able to genuinely work together with DRIVEN's ultra-collaborative, entrepreneurial-spirited team.

Flexibility – You must be comfortable with multitasking, ready to take on multiple projects of different kinds all at once.

Travel - Be willing to travel to events, conferences, trade shows and other activations, as needed (client-depending).

Hybrid Work Environment – You will be asked to work in-office at Curiosity Lab 2-3 days a week and be present for on-site client events as needed.
