We’re keeping this job description simple: we are looking for a kick-ass content creator that knows how to run the gambit of shooting great video content married with social media expertise. While this candidate needs to have shooting and editing skills, your main job is management: strategy, ideating posts, caption creation, scheduling. We have a great video production team to create assets for you!

Our team members are based all over the eastern U.S. We are seeking a social media manager in the greater Atlanta area to work out of our office in Peachtree Corners.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the development of organic and paid social media strategies that support the client’s business—demonstrating an understanding of their key issues, goals, competitive situation and industry trends. Including:
- Creating strategies and content across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and more (including posts, stories and reels)
- Maintaining social media profiles and creating new profiles as needed
- Post to platforms daily and or according to client schedule
- Post at optimal times
- Create and grow engagement and followers across all platforms
- Manage paid posts and ads (as requested)
- Earns and keeps each client’s respect and confidence as a trusted advisor, bringing value to their business through a strong commitment to success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions.
- Employs a range of thinking and decision-making approaches—“what if,” “end-in-mind,” “critical,” “trade-off,” and “judicious” approaches to issues and initiatives on a daily basis.
- May develop & supervise press materials, written content (blog posts, articles, etc.), organic social media editorial calendars and monthly content calendars, leads and negotiates influencer relations partnerships and makes strategic recommendations on creative and written content.
- Supervises and manages the agency’s day-to-day relationships with key social media client contacts.
- Makes strategic recommendations and plans that integrate PR & social media activities into larger marketing campaigns to support business objectives and collaborate with other cross-functional departments.
- Supports the development of new business proposals which include social media services.
- Leads client projects; successfully focuses the efforts of agency staff, so they are completed as proposed—on-time, within budget and with minimum disruption to daily activity of client or agency to respond proactively.
- Displays curiosity and a willingness to push your own thinking and the agency’s work in new directions.
- Anticipates potential relationship or expectation issues, advising the appropriate Account Director, Department Head and/or Agency Management in time for the agency to respond proactively.
- Provides clear, thoroughly written direction to agency team members, and contributes to the development of strategic documents, presentations, pitch angles, bylines, press releases, etc.
Education and Experience
- The right candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising or communications.
- Social roles: Must have proven experience using Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, and have worked with commonly used social media platforms.
- Must have proven experience in media relations (local & national)
- Must have experience with Google Workspace, research & tracking tools, and agency presentation systems & equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience building audience engagement
- 3-5 years of public relations/social media/experience, including solid internships.
- Real-life writing experience, with past published materials strongly preferred. Writing samples will be requested.
- Demonstrable media hits and overall media results across a variety of industries. Both B2B and B2C samples are highly desired.
