Overview
Editor - NBC Boston, NECN & Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra role at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. NBC10 Boston, NECN and Telemundo Boston is looking for a team player to join us as an Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for editing stories, including spot news, promotable content, social media content, special projects, and show edits.
Responsibilities
Edit on Adobe Premiere edit systems and be proficient in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
Create graphics for promotable content and incorporate animation.
Create, edit, and post social media content on various platforms in multiple aspect ratios.
Respond quickly to breaking news while coordinating with the assignment desk, reporters/anchors, production, control room, and Telemundo/NBC personnel.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years editing experience in a medium or major market TV news station
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
Minimum 3 years of experience operating communication tools and staying connected with the assignment constituencies (e.g., email, cell phone, messaging tools)
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere edit systems
Team player who is flexible
Bilingual Spanish and English; both written and verbal
Self-motivated, collaborative and creative to tell stories with sound and images
Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overnights.
